Platinum Equity, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of E&A Scheer, a blender and vendor of premium rum from The Riverside Company, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. "E&A Scheer has built an impressive legacy over more than 300 years and today plays a unique and essential role in the global rum market.
