Amphenol, a global provider of high-technology interconnect, antenna and sensor solutions, agreed to acquire Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, the harsh environment interconnect solutions business of Carlisle Companies, an American diversified company, for $2bn. "We are excited to welcome CIT’s approximately 6k talented employees to the Amphenol family. CIT’s highly engineered harsh environment interconnect solutions will allow us to deliver a more comprehensive technology solution for the increasingly complex applications of our customers in harsh environment markets.
