Cynosure Group, a private equity firm, led a $85m funding round in Platform Accounting Group, specialist in accounting, mergers, acquisitions, tax advisory, and business consulting services, with participation from Swell Capital and Peery Capital. “Currently, smaller accounting firms are under threat. Without much needed capital, operational support and staffing resources, it’s becoming harder and harder for these firms to compete and thrive.
