Mutares to acquire Magirus from Iveco Group.

Mutares, a private equity firm, agreed to acquire Magirus, a manufacturer of firefighting vehicles and equipments, from Iveco Group, an automotive company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Magirus is a typical Mutares acquisition where the company stands for a reputed brand with high quality and represents a compelling value proposition. We therefore see huge potential in the business and are looking forward to further leveraging on its position in Europe and globally," Mark Friedrich, Mutares CFO.
