Investcorp-backed Shearer Supply, an independent distributor of HVAC equipment for residential and commercial properties, completed the acquisition of Climatic Comfort Products, a distributor of American standard heating & air conditioning equipment, from The Climatic, a HVAC distribution subsidiary company, for $34m. “The acquisition of CCP fits well with our strategy of acquiring complementary businesses located in attractive geographies representing best-in-class equipment manufacturers,” Michelle Shearer-Rodriguez, Shearer Supply CEO.
