PayPal Ventures, a venture capital firm, led a €18m Series A funding round in Pliant, a business-to-business (B2B) credit card platform that allows businesses to optimize their payment processes, with participation from SBI Investment, Motive Ventures, and Alstin Capital. “We are excited to welcome PayPal Ventures as a new shareholder, and we’re looking forward to continuing to grow the company as we expand into new markets, starting with the UK,” Malte Rau, Pliant CEO.
