Arkema to acquire a 78% stake in Proionic.

Arkema, a manufacturer of alkalies and chlorine, agreed to acquire a 78% stake in Proionic, a company specializing in the development and production of ultra-pure ionic liquids using their exclusive CBILS technology. Financial terms were not disclosed.
