SierraCo, an independent oil producer in Colombia, completed the acquisition of upstream assets in Colombia from Cepsa, an oil and gas company, for $74m. "Cepsa delivered further key milestones of its transformation journey, underpinned by a strong financial performance when setting aside the continued impact of Spain’s poorly designed extraordinary tax on energy companies," Maarten Wetselaar, Cepsa Chief Executive.
