Tata Group, a business conglomerate, agreed to acquire an additional 10% stake in Tata Play, a TV services provider, from Temasek, a private equity firm, for $100m. Tata Play has informed the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting about the change in shareholding, complying with regulations governing direct-to-home companies.
