Canfor to acquire the El Dorado lumber manufacturing facility in Union County, Arkansas from Domtar for $73m.

Canfor, an integrated forest products company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, agreed to acquire the El Dorado lumber manufacturing facility in Union County, Arkansas from Domtar, a North American pulp and paper company, for $73m. The history of Canfor’s operations in Arkansas date back to 1916 through a legacy of operations which began with the Anthony Forest Products Company, acquired by Canfor in 2015.
