Prettl completed the acquisition of Johnson Matthey Battery Systems from Johnson Matthey.

Prettl, a German group of companies active in automotive, energy, electronics and components industries, completed the acquisition of Johnson Matthey Battery Systems, a developer, designer and producer of advanced lithium-ion battery systems from Johnson Matthey, an international speciality chemicals company. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition is a chance for Prettl Group to strengthen its competitiveness and sustainability initiative by entering into rapidly growing market for intelligent, battery-powered products.
