Trafigura to acquire the Canadian operations of Greenergy from Brookfield.

Trafigura, a commodities group, agreed to acquire the Canadian operations of Greenergy, a supplier of biofuels, from Brookfield, an alternative investment management company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Greenergy’s Canadian business has strong commercial synergies with our global distillates, gasoline and biofuels business and our well-established commercial relationships across North America,” Ben Luckock, Trafigura Global Head of Oil.
