Platinum Equity-backed The HC Companies, a manufacturer of horticultural containers, completed the acquisition of Classic Home & Garden, a provider of decorative and functional products for the lawn and garden market. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This is a strategic and highly complementary combination of two companies that each have their own distinct value propositions.
