Unimetal to acquire Larpen Metallurgical Service.

Unimetal, a high quality carbon products provider, agreed to acquire Larpen Metallurgical Service, a supplier of graphite and carbon products in North America. Financial terms were not disclosed. Larpen is known as a traditional and respected carbon supplier in North America. The firm will benefit from the acquisition by gaining exclusive access to the world’s largest source of low sulfur products, enhancing its product range and ensuring a reliable supply chain as part of an integrated manufacturing company.
