Snuneymuxw First Nation-backed Petroglyph Development Group to acquire Casino Nanaimo from Great Canadian Entertainment.

Snuneymuxw First Nation-backed Petroglyph Development Group, an economic development corporation, agreed to acquire Casino Nanaimo, a landmark Vancouver Island property, from Great Canadian Entertainment, a Canadian gaming and hospitality company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Acquiring this significant asset will unlock unprecedented economic potential for Snuneymuxw and PDG, paving the way for transformative growth in Snuneymuxw's economy and the profits that PDG returns to our Nation," Ian Simpson, Petroglyph Development Group CEO.
