Amynta Group to acquire stop loss business from Unum Group.

Amynta Group, an insurance services provider, agreed to acquire stop loss business from Unum Group, a provider of comprehensive financial insurance products to industries of all sizes. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are pleased to enter into an agreement to sell our Stop Loss operations to Amynta. This transaction places the future of the Stop Loss business in capable hands and poised for strong growth while enabling Unum to continue its focus on key enterprise priorities,” Marco Forato, Unum Group Senior Vice President and CSO.
