GGEW completed the acquisition of Innovation Park from ABO Energy.

GGEW, a company that operates and manages electricity and gas networks, completed the acquisition of Innovation Park, a hybrid solar park in Wald-Michelbach, from ABO Energy, a developer of renewable energy projects. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The project is a milestone for the security of supply with energy from renewable sources. Storage options will be an important and fundamental factor in the future when converting the electricity supply to renewable energies. Hybrid solar parks are therefore an important instrument for the energy transition and for preventing price fluctuations on the energy exchanges," Florian Grob, GGEW Head of Renewable Energies.
