Latour-backed Innovalift to acquire Arkel for €143m.

Latour-backed Innovalift, a manufacturer of platform lifts, stair lifts, and elevator components, agreed to acquire Arkel, a manufacturer of components for elevators, for €143m. "We are happy to welcome Arkel into the Innovalift family. Through this acquisition, we significantly strengthen Innovalift’s position within control systems and related elevator components, while we also get access to new geographic markets.
