Shield Capital, a venture capital firm, and J2 Ventures, a venture capital company, led a $16.5m Seed round in Code Metal, a company specializing in translating advanced research algorithms into practical hardware applications “Code Metal is accelerating development at the edge faster than any of its peers at a time where edge deployments are scaling rapidly.
