Mehiläinen Konserni, a provider of private health care and social services in Finland, completed the acquisition of LähiTapiola, Finnish finance group company providing insurance services. Financial terms were not disclosed. Mehiläinen Konserni Oy's shareholders and board of directors estimate that simplifying Mehiläinen's ownership structure and board composition is in the company's interest. According to the company's view, the consideration per share offered for LähiTapiola's shares according to the agreement does not exceed the fair value of Mehiläinen's share. Mehiläinen has sufficient distributable funds to implement the acquisition based on the most recently confirmed financial statements.
