ZOLL to acquire the ventilator business from Vyaire Medical.

ZOLL, a provider of medical devices and related software solutions, agreed to acquire the ventilator business from Vyaire Medical, a manufacturer and distributor of consumable medical devices for anesthesia and respiratory care. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Respiratory care has been central to ZOLL’s business strategy for many years. If the acquisition is successfully completed, adding Vyaire’s ventilators to ZOLL’s product portfolio will enhance our ability to serve a broader range of clinicians and patients,” Jon Rennert, ZOLL CEO.
