Synopsis

Investment companies Blackstone and CPPIB agreed to acquire AirTrunk, a hyperscale data centre platform, from Macquarie Group, a global investment banking and financial services group, and PSP Investments, a capital market company, for AUD24bn. “AirTrunk is another vital step as Blackstone seeks to be the leading digital infrastructure investor in the world,” Jon Gray, Blackstone President and Chief Operating Officer.
