Westfalen Weser, a Municipal energy company, completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in LSF Energy, an established project developer of wind power plants. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We want to take a holistic approach to the energy transition – from energy generation to its cross-sectoral use. It is important to us that we create energy solutions and add value in and for the region. To be able to get involved in renewable energy generation as quickly as possible, we are relying on cooperation with an established regional expert for wind power projects,” Jürgen Noch, Westfalen Weser Managing Director.
