Leonard Green and Aurora Capital-backed Pace, a company that delivers testing and scientific research services for chemical, healthcare and life sciences industries, completed the acquisition of analytical services laboratory in Research Triangle Park from Catalent, a provider of delivery technologies, development, drug manufacturing, biologics, gene therapies and consumer health products. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This acquisition enhances and strengthens our ability to partner with our clients throughout early-stage drug research and development to commercialization as a full-service analytical outsourcing provider.
