Gogo to acquire Satcom Direct for $600m.

Gogo, a provider of in-flight broadband Internet service and other connectivity services for commercial and business aircraft, agreed to acquire Satcom Direct, a provider of fully integrated, end-to-end global satellite communications solutions, for $600m. "This transaction accelerates our growth strategies of expanding our total addressable market to include the 14,000 business aircraft outside North America, and delivering solutions that meet the needs of every segment of the BA market," Oakleigh Thorne, Gogo Chairman and CEO.
