Synopsis
SDIC, a Chinese state-owned investment holding company, agreed to acquire a 49.90% stake in APPC, a mining and metals company, for $400m. Given SDIC’s expertise in the development of potash mines, APPCH will benefit from SDIC’s know-how and be able to develop a world-class potash mine in Thailand.
