Daikin Applied, a provider of advanced commercial and industrial HVAC systems, completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Varitec Solutions, a provider of energy-efficient HVAC systems for commercial buildings. Financial terms were not disclosed. "More companies are looking to optimize their building systems and reduce carbon emissions, and we're here to support them at all points in that journey.
