Synopsis
CapMan, a private equity fund manager, agreed to acquire Haminan Kaukolämpö, a heat distribution company, and Haminan Sähköverkko, an electricity distributing company, from Haminan Energia, a local energy company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are very pleased to support the development of Hamina’s energy infrastructure. Hamina is a vibrant city, and we see a lot of growth potential in the area. Our goal is to develop Hamina’s energy infrastructure, further strengthening the positive development of the region and enhancing its attractiveness both as a place to live and as a destination for industrial projects. Additionally, we are excited about the opportunity to invest in heat production carbon neutrality,” Pekko Haaksluoto, CapMan Infra Partner.
