Mycronic completed the acquisition of Modus High-Tech Electronics.

Mycronic, a Täby-based Swedish high-tech company specializing in precision production equipment for the electronics industry completed the acquisition of Modus High-Tech Electronics, a Düsseldorf-based provider of automated optical inspection systems. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Modus’ inspection systems are an integral part of conformal coating production lines, where Mycronic’s High Volume division is a global leader in electronics conformal coating solutions. Together, we will be able to offer complete and optimized solutions to our respective customers," Ivan Li, Mycronic Sr VP High Volume.
