Terna completed the acquisition of Rete 2 from Areti for €227m.

Terna, an Italy-based electricity transmission system operator, completed the acquisition of Rete 2, an Italian company that owns and manages high-voltage electricity transmission infrastructure, from Areti, an Italian company engaged in the distribution of electricity, operating medium- and low-voltage power networks, for €227m. “This transaction, fully aligned with the objectives of our 2024–2028 Industrial Plan, supports the achievement of the Group’s economic and financial targets. The acquisition will enable more efficient operational management of our network, particularly in the Rome metropolitan area,” Giuseppina Di Foggia, Terna CEO.
