Vinci Partners to acquire a 67% majority stake in Brazilian Outback Steakhouse from Bloomin' Brands for $243m.

Vinci Partners, a private equity firm, agreed to acquire a 67% majority stake in Brazilian Outback Steakhouse, a restaurant, from Bloomin' Brands, a restaurant holding company, for $243m. “We are retaining 33% ownership of the business [...] It has been my experience living and working internationally with franchise partners that combining powerful classic brands with local capability and expertise is the optimal business model to maximize future growth,” Mike Spanos, Bloomin' Brands CEO.
