Sasken Technologies completed the acquisition of the ODM and software services business of Borqs Technologies for $40m.

Sasken Technologies, a specialist in product engineering and digital transformation, completed the acquisition of the ODM and software services business from Borqs Technologies, a provider of 5G wireless solutions, Internet of Things solutions, and innovative clean energy, for $40m. “After the strategic alliance with Sasken, Borqs intends to use the proceeds to develop the next generation AI and blockchain software and services. Borqs plans to continue to collaborate with Sasken to leverage its Silicon design capabilities to develop AI oriented products,” Pat Chan, Borqs CEO.
