Akamai to acquire select assets from Edgio.

Akamai, a cybersecurity and cloud computing company, agreed to acquire select assets from Edgio, a content delivery network service provider, including customer contracts from Edgio's businesses in security and content delivery, and non-exclusive license rights to Edgio's entire patent portfolio. Financial terms were not disclosed.
