Branford Castle-backed Lafayette Instrument completed the acquisition of Alzet Osmotic Pumps from DURECT for $17.5m.

Branford Castle-backed Lafayette Instrument, a manufacturer of scientific instrumentation and data acquisition equipment, completed the acquisition of Alzet Osmotic Pumps, a provider of small infusion pumps for accurate and continuous dosing of unrestrained laboratory animals, from DURECT, a late-stage biopharmaceutical company, for $17.5m.
