S4 Energy, a CCI's subsidiary and an energy storage company specializing in large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems, agreed to acquire a 310 MW battery energy storage portfolio from Terra One, an energy supplier company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This transaction demonstrates our conviction in the sector and belief in the vital role that battery energy storage plays in delivering Germany’s decarbonization goals,” Mohit Singh, CCI Principal.
