Seplat Energy, a Nigerian energy company, completed the acquisition of the Mobil Producing Nigeria business of ExxonMobil, an international petroleum and petrochemical company, for $672m. "MPNU is a perfect fit with our strategy to build a sustainable business that can deliver affordable, accessible and reliable energy for Nigeria alongside attractive returns to our shareholders," Roger Brown, Seplat Energy CEO.
