Private equity firms Bain Capital and CC Capital are bidding to acquire Insignia Financial, a wealth manager, for up to AUD2.9bn. Bain Capital made its AUD2.67bn bid in December 2024. The offer was outbid by CC Capital in January 2025. On January 13, 2025, Bain Capital raised its bid from AUD2.67bn to AUD2.87bn.
