Vireo to acquire Proper Brands, Deep Roots Harvest and WholesomeCo for $397m.

Vireo, a medical marijuana growing, processing and dispensing company, agreed to acquire Proper Brands, a provider of cannabis extracts and artisan edibles, Deep Roots Harvest, a recreational cannabis provider, and WholesomeCo, a company cultivating, processing and selling medical cannabis, for $397m. “Proper remains unwavering in delivering what our passionate customers want: quality cannabis flower and extracts, as well as consistent, delicious edibles.
