BNP Paribas Asset Management completed the $70m investment in CVE Biogaz.

BNP Paribas Asset Management, the dedicated, autonomous asset management business of BNP Paribas Group, completed the $70m investment in CVE Biogaz, a multi-energy, multi-country renewable energy producer. “We are delighted to welcome BNPP AM to our capital, a leading player whose interest demonstrates the importance and potential of methanization. We are the only independent player to master the entire value chain, from biowaste management to the production of renewable gas and the return of organic matter to the soil, all without intermediation. CVE Biogaz aims to increase its green gas production 6-fold by 2030. We want to actively contribute to the ambitions of the French industry, which aims to increase the share of renewable, low-carbon gas to 20% of our national consumption by 2030, compared with 2% today, while at the same time working towards France’s energy sovereignty,” Hervé Lucas, CVE Biogaz Co-President.
