Civitas Resources, a US-based energy company specializing in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas, completed the acquisition of midland basin oil and gas assets from Occidental Petroleum, a US-based energy company specializing in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas, with additional operations in chemical manufacturing and carbon management, for $300m.
