Intuitive Surgical to acquire Italian da Vinci and Ion distribution businesses of AB Medica and Abex Excelencia Robotica.

Intuitive Surgical, a minimally invasive care and the pioneer of robotic surgery, agreed to acquire da Vinci and Ion distribution businesses, from AB Medica, a company that specializes in innovative medical devices, robotics, and telemedicine solutions, and Abex Excelencia Robotica, a company that specializes in robotic surgery. Financial terms were not disclosed. Intuitive is excited to continue to invest in the significant opportunity to bring safe, minimally invasive care to more patients across Europe.
