Synopsis
Warburg Pincus-backed Specialist Risk Group, the natural home of specialist underwriting and broking, agreed to acquire assets in Belgium and the Netherlands from Ecclesia, an insurance broker in Detmold, Germany. Financial terms were not disclosed. This acquisition marks a significant step in SRG’s continued international growth and its first in mainland Europe, following their launch in Asia Pacific in 2024.
