Sojitz to acquire Capella Capital from Lendlease for AUD235m

Sojitz, an integrated global trading and investment group, agreed to acquire Capella Capital, an Australian-based firm specializing in the development, financing, and management of infrastructure projects, from Lendlease, an Australian multinational construction and real estate company, for AUD235m. "The sale of Capella Capital accelerates the release of capital while also reducing the group’s future funding commitments, allowing Lendlease to focus on its core Australian operations and international Investments platform," Tony Lombardo, Lendlease CEO.
