CIVC Partners-backed Crest, a US-based independent insurance brokerage firm, completed the acquisition of the Texas business unit from Horizon Insurance Services, a full-service insurance agency. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The partnership is strategic. We are seeing the market open up, and joining forces with a partner like Crest puts us in a position to attack these emerging opportunities," Ramon Canlas, The Horizon Trucking Principal.
