The Centurion Foundation to acquire CharterCARE Health Partners from Prospect Medical Holdings.

Synopsis

The Centurion Foundation, an American non-profit organization developing, arranging financing, and leasing facilities, agreed to acquire CharterCARE Health Partners, a community-based, patient-centered health system joint venture, from Prospect Medical Holdings, a private healthcare company based in Los Angeles. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The Centurion Foundation is pleased that an amended asset purchase agreement for the acquisition of CharterCARE Health Partners has been reached with Prospect. We hope for a favorable decision from the bankruptcy court that will allow this important transaction to move forward and secure the future stability of these two critical hospitals," Ben Mingle, The Centurion Foundation President and CEO.
