Brookfield Asset Management, a global investment firm, agreed to acquire the renewables business of National Grid, an electricity, natural gas, and clean energy delivery company, for $1.735bn. This transaction is another important step in delivering National Grid's previously communicated strategy to focus on networks and streamline our business, as announced in May 2024.
