Borealis, an Austrian plastics manufacturer, and OMV, integrated, international oil, gas and chemicals company, agreed to acquire a 93.88% stake in Borouge, an Abu Dhabi–based petrochemicals company and a manufacturer of polyolefins, for €1.6bn.
