Brookfield-backed CleanMax, Osaka Gas Singapore and JBIC formed Clean Max Osaka Gas Renewable Energy.

Synopsis

Brookfield-backed CleanMax, an Asian renewable energy provider in the commercial and industrial sector, Osaka Gas Singapore, a wholly owned subsidiary of Osaka Gas which focuses on developing and managing energy-related businesses across Asia, and JBIC, a policy-based financial institution wholly owned by the Government of Japan, formed Clean Max Osaka Gas Renewable Energy, to advance renewable energy initiatives in India. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This joint venture aligns seamlessly with our vision to enable corporate India to achieve its net-zero ambitions. This marks a remarkable milestone in India’s sustainability journey, offering exciting new opportunities in the C&I energy sector," Kuldeep Jain, CleanMax Managing Director.
