The Rohatyn Group, an investment firm, agreed to acquire a 77% stake in the New Zealand joint venture from Rayonier, a timberland real estate investment trust, for $710m. “TRG is delighted to acquire Rayonier’s New Zealand business and looks forward to continuing a highly productive and successful operation over the long term.
