Thungela Resources to acquire the remaining 25% stake in Sungela from Audley Energy and Mayfair Corporations Group for AUD90.4m.

Thungela Resources, a South African thermal coal producer and exporter, agreed to acquire the remaining 25% stake in Sungela, an Australian investment holding company, from Audley Energy, a UK-registered private company, and Mayfair Corporations Group, an Australian private entity, for AUD90.4m. This transaction, along with a separate acquisition of another 15% from a different entity, means Thungela now owns 100% of the Ensham coal mine business in Australia.
